Description
Wunderlich Quick Connect Wiring Harness for Auxiliary Socket
When using a navigation system or another device on a motorcycle, the question arises of how to achieve a permanent power supply. One can route a cable directly from the battery to the cockpit area, but this is laborious and time-consuming. Additionally, this type of power supply must be secured by a fuse. Furthermore, the battery will quickly drain if you forget to turn off the device after switching off the ignition.
Our QUICK CONNECT cable set offers a professional, safe solution. It is plug-and-play with pre-configured connectors that plug into the original BMW connection points of the DIN or USB socket on the back and smartly integrate into the power supply of the onboard network. Then, the two onboard sockets (DIN or USB) are connected with the intended connectors of the QUICK CONNECT cable set. Done!
With this solution, the power supply to the two sockets is magically interrupted when the motorcycle's ignition is turned off so the battery cannot drain unnoticed. The protoboard network provides action (max. 5 A). Other DIN and USB sockets are free for the use of other consumers!
Function and Product Features
- Professionally assembled cable with three pre-finished connectors:
- An original connector for connection to the onboard network
- Two original connectors for powering two sockets
- Plug & play installation for a convenient, safe power supply for your navigation or other devices in the cockpit - instead of additional cable clutter when routing cables between the battery and the cockpit.
- When the ignition is turned off, the power supply to the connected devices is automatically interrupted, so the battery does not drain unnoticed.
- The power supply is secured via the onboard network, so no additional fuse is needed.
- The load capacity via the onboard network is a maximum of 5 A (including the possible consumers at the sockets)
