Looks great-I’ll update this when I ride with it. I also had trouble removing the stock metal pins. They were stuck in my motorcycle triple clamp. What worked was heating just the pin with the tip of a small soldering iron held on it for a minute. Then I heated the 2nd one while the first one cooled. Then I switched - so two heating and cooling cycles. I grabbed it again with good vice grips and twisted back and forth and pulled and they came out. I was afraid to use a torch or even a heat gun due to the gas tank with gas being inches away. After getting the pins out, I put a thin coating of aluminum anti-seize lubricant on the new ones before installing (this is available at any hardware and most auto parts stores) in case I ever need to remove the new ones. So the windshield looks really cool to me. The quality and quality of the hardware is excellent. It’s very easy to tighten the bolts so you can tilt it a little without tools to adjust the wind flow. Wish I had spent the money on this one to begin with - the universal ones I tried first were harder to install, had inferior junky looking hardware and did not compliment the bikes appearance as well. I’m thinking of making them into shields for my kids when playing paintball in the woods behind the house.
