Wunderlich Ducati DesertX Extreme Radiator Guard
The radiator is optimally positioned in the air stream generated during travel for optimum airflow to cool the engine. The exposed installation position also means that the delicate fins of the radiation network are also unprotected against stone chips, foreign bodies and insects, however. Insects clog up the cooler and reduce the cooling capacity, such as fins bent by „stone chips“. In the worst case, this can lead to leaks. With a damaged cooler, it is no longer possible to continue riding and dirt reduces the cooling capacity.
Our radiator protection is designed to provide an optimal air flow and optimal cooling capacity. The front silhouette of the cooler is covered in a way that reliably avoids foreign bodies and insects directly striking the vulnerable radiator network. It reliably protects the cooler without impacting the air flow.

Our fitted and foldable clear headlight guard reduces the risk of such damage. In the event that the motorcycle falls or crashes, the axle protection pads ensure that the swing arm, the wheel axle and the chain tension device are effectively protected against damage.
The protection pads distance these components during bouncing or sliding contact with the floor or road and thus reduce or avoid costly damage to the motorcycle. In addition to the choice of material, we have also integrated two significant, specific properties into the construction and tested these in racing, these being the damping and abrasion resistance that significantly increases in the slide phase.
The damping: The first positive feature we should mention is the damping, which can partially or fully capture and absorb part of the impact energy where impacting forces occur.
Abrasion resistance: The second positive characteristic is the abrasion resistance, which owing the component geometry increases from the outside in due to the enlargement of the effective slide area. This means that our axle protection pad only offers a low level of frictional resistance on light contact, but shortens the time and area of the grinding phase, such as when grinding along the road surface for a longer period. This means that in a crash with the axle protection pad, the time in which the motorcycle slides and the slide path itself are both reduced.
For the optimum protection of your machine, we recommend the combination of our axle protection pads with our vehicle-specific protection bar systems, for which we offer model-specific, additional protection pads separately.

The beautifully designed MARATHON windshield thus unleashes its full potential with the attractive Italian too on long as well as short tours and at all times of the year. The high-quality workmanship can be seen on the first glance through the scratch-proof, fuel and UV-proof, 5 mm thick windshield: clear transparency with no irritating visual distortions. To introduce the Ducati DesertX, we have designed the matching AKTIVKOMFORT rider and passenger seats in X-design for you: Wunderlich seats that perfectly combine the unique characteristics of our AKTIVKOMFORT seats and the layout of the DesertX.
We manufacture our rider seats with a characteristic, ergonomic 3D contour that lets the rider become one with their motorcycle. The shape and angle of the carefully crafted seat core support the ergonomically beneficial, natural posture of the back. Integrated in the motorcycle, riding is a relaxing affair and thus also active. And there's no doubt that relaxed sitting adds a serious plus to passive safety. This AKTIVKOMFORT seat has the latest ThermoPro technology where the temperature of the seat in direct sun at the peak of summer is up to 25°C lower compared to standard untreated cover materials. We also have a passenger seat in the range to go with this.

The "buckling" of the cushioning is reliably prevented via the sophisticated construction and the sitting pressure is equally distributed over a large area, resulting in noticeably lower specific pressure load to your behind. Comfy! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves the pressure-sensitive coccyx. They offer perfect hold and active, reliable control during accelerated riding, also and especially when braking: who hasn't experienced it, when your passenger suddenly slides forward on braking and you immediately have to brace while simultaneously having to steer in what could be a hairy situation? Combining our high-quality TOURING windshield with our HIGHWAY fairing noticeably improves the touring and long-distance suitability of the R 18, not only for Route 66. The aerodynamic shape of the windshield, which leans towards the rider and is specially adapted to the HIGHWAY fairing, provides effective relief from the wind and the best protection from the elements. This is especially true at medium speeds. The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 Special is equipped with an electronically controlled control valve for fork damping. The electronic control unit with the associated connections is mounted very exposed on the left fork leg.
With our tailor-made cover, we reliably protect the control valve and reduce the risk of damage from stones, branches or other foreign bodies, because a failure can have unpleasant consequences. The protective cover has a solid material thickness of 2.5 mm. The three-dimensional shape and the precise edging of the high-quality stainless steel cover contribute to the structural rigidity of the component. The perforation underlines the adventure look and reduces the bulk of the cover. It is bolted to the easily accessible front left brake caliper with a precise and form-fitting fit - which it also protects - and is thus integrated discreetly.
