The carefully made, solid top case carrier made of stainless steel follows the line of the passenger seat and fits perfectly into the overall design of the machine. Alternatively, it can also be used as a luggage rack. The discreet, yet robust carrier made of precision stainless steel tube, which accommodates the carrier plate for the top case, is screwed to six suitable existing frame points at the rear. The top case can be quickly assembled, disassembled and securely locked. The lock ensures a play-free, secure fit, regardless of the road surface. The carrier plate has functionally integrated openings to which lashing straps can be attached. The Rack can also be used as a luggage rack at any time if there is no top case on board. Super sporty and compact bag - for such bikes. As a sports bag, it is simply and easily attached to the cover of the pillion seat. It is perfect, because the standard storage space is understandably limited on super sporty bikes ex works. We have therefore designed them for practical functionality that underlines the sporty look of the bike: the design blends in with it in a formal way. The materiality of the CORDURA® TrueLock™ fabric used, the blue applications and the dynamic cut also contribute to this. This tail bag is therefore not only suitable when additional storage space is needed quickly - it simply always goes with you!

The bag has a volume of six liters. It is dimensionally stable and is closed with a water-repellent, dust-proof zipper. The bag gives the luggage a secure hold and protection and it does not flap at high speeds. The blue inner lining forms - typical for Wunderlich - a high-contrast background against which small travel utensils can be easily recognized. The lid has an adjustable mesh on the top made of an elastic band arranged in a zigzag - for gloves, for example. We have provided an ergonomic carrying handle for easy portability.

The careful and secure attachment is done with two cross-arranged straps. A cuff extends over the rear end of the pillion seat for additional form-fitting support. With Wunderlich brand logo.

Wunderlich BLUE – using the example of sustainable fabrics

The new CORDURA® TrueLock™ fabric consists of high-strength nylon 6.6 multi-filament nylon fibers that are manufactured in an extrusion process. In this continuous process, the added color is "locked up" in the fiber, i.e. it is firmly bound. This eliminates the need for subsequent stressful dyeing and washing processes. The process developed by CORDURA® inventor INVISTA to manufacture CORDURA® TrueLock™ conserves resources by using less water and energy, it reduces CO₂ emissions while increasing durability, service life and durability. The fabric has a further optimized, excellent color fastness, color vibrancy and UV stability. The fade and abrasion resistance could also be improved again.
We save on the plastic outer packaging and instead deliver the tank bag in our matching, waterproof and versatile Wunderlich luggage bag (44000-xxx). We'll cover the costs. So you can use the Pack Sack when traveling in the future and at the same time we protect the environment together.

THE DESIGN

FITS LIKE A GLOVE

Form follows function. Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde®'s motto when creating The Nomad for BMW GS Models. But this doesn't mean they've taken it easy. On the contrary - the result is something to be proud of and fits the F850 GS and GSA like a glove. They chose a design that blends in perfectly with the design of the bike as a whole.

They do not only offer to choose between sounds options, the rider can also choose design options (which of course unlike the sound you cannot switch by pushing a button). The exhaust will be available in black and Pearl Grey. To complete the look they've developed a gloss carbon end cap with an aluminum core. This one of a kind end cap gives the exhaust a distinguished look.. As a finishing touch we provide an optional carbon heat shield on the header.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

TECHNOLOGY

The Nomad contains different electronic control units to ensure the best street legal sound and ultimate performance.

1. Modeswitch -The electronically controlled and adjustable system allows riders to open and close the exhaust valve with the push of a button mounted on the handlebar. The button is fully weather-resistant and flickers a red light when activated for your convenience.

2. Smartbox - The electronic control unit in our exhaust systems is the brain of our product. Thanks to its ability to read CAN bus signals coming from the motorcycle’s ECU, the Smartbox makes sure you will not end up on the wrong side of the law no matter what mode you select. By committing the system to the parameters set by EU legislation, the Smartbox will seamlessly and subtly intervene if necessary.

3. Servomotors - By pressing the modeswitch, the Smartbox will send a signal to the servomotors. These will react and position the valve in the required mode. Thanks to a dual-cable operation the servo motors can switch back and forth between the open Mr. Hyde mode and closed Dr. Jekill mode, or engage the 50% opened Dynamic mode. The servomotors are equipped with heavy duty cables and a 100% waterproof seal to ensure strong and durable adjusters.

4. The Valve -Reacting to the servomotors our patented valve system will be positioned in the required mode, giving you the sound mode you want.

Our multifunctional and sporty compact bag is easily and simply attached to the pillion seat cover. It is perfect when extra storage space is needed in a hurry. The new, streamlined, functional design of our seat and luggage carrier bag can be recognized by the discreet blue applications.

It has a volume of 14 liters, which can be expanded to 20 liters if required. There are two additional practical pockets on the side. The base of the bag is dimensionally stable. It is closed with a water-repellent, dust proof zip. This gives the bag a secure hold and protection and it does not flap at high speeds. Therefore, it does not cause any speed-related noise.

On the top, the lid has a versatile holding system of regularly arranged oval openings comparable to the military MOLLE system. Clutch/Brake Line Extension for Handlebar Riser

When fitting a handlebar riser, we recommend extending the standard hydraulic lines for the brake and the clutch.

This high-grade hydraulic hose extends the break or clutch line by around 115 mm, which has proven effective in practice. We include the necessary hollow screw and all required seals as standard with the practical adapter. It is fitted between the brake pump or the clutch perch and the original hydraulic hose. We have gently angled the connection for the brake pump or clutch perch. This simplifies connection of the supply lines, which can then be routed and connected without tension.

Using the extension saves both the time and money that would otherwise be required for producing and routing new (approved) hydraulic lines.

Note on installation and your safety: Fitting the adapter requires specialist expertise. It should therefore only be fitted and connected by specialist personnel or a specialist workshop.

Wunderlich Manifold Protection, Heat Shield, Carbon Fiber

Heat shield made of real carbon. And since quality is everything to us, we have the protective cover exclusively from Ilmberger, Carbon specialists, manufacture for us. It is a strong yet lightweight cover that serves as thermal and mechanical protection to reliably isolate the radiant heat from the rear cylinder manifold and to prevent direct contact of the right lower leg with the hot manifold pipe. We have made our carbon heat shield over 130 millimeters longer than the series plate for good reasons. It thus protects against painful burn injuries and prevents damage to the protective clothing due to thermal influences. At the same time, it offers a high mechanical protection against scratches or dents for the manifold, which can occur when driving off-road or in the event of an unfortunate fall. The heat protection is constructed in one piece and is mounted thermally decoupled, so touches remain without consequences. Functional, integrated design with a carbon adventure look. The organic shape follows the course of the manifold fluently, so that it fits perfectly into the lateral flow of the Pan America. Precise assembly using the enclosed assembly kit is extremely easy. The heat protection replaces the original series part.

This carbon part replaces the original component using the original attachment points. An advantage is the weight saving (usually there is a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and the higher component rigidity.

Ilmberger uses pre-impregnated carbon fiber matrices for the high-quality carbon. The fiber volume is dimensioned and the alignment of the individual fiber layers is defined. The matrix is then hand-laminated without bubbles and covered twice with a protective coating. The additional clear coat of paint protects and emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure. After hardening in the autoclave, the carbon components meet the highest standards and the highest demands.

The aerospace material shows its full potential with a weight saving of up to 70% compared to the series part and with its weight-specific rigidity. The form always follows the function and is optimally integrated into the design of the motorcycle. The lines of the respective machine as well as the material and the surface texture of adjacent series components are taken into account. This carbon component underlines the high-tech claim with the unique appearance of real carbon.
