Parts and service were great, I'm still in the proces of fixing the product to my bike, so I will return later with a more complete comment, but so far everything is excelent.

The riding position is more comfortable. The steering is quicker and lighter. I am now more in the wind stream so more noise. The install was not complicated. I recommend the Hornig bar install video. I used a clutch adapter instead of rerouting. I should have done this much sooner.

Received the conversion and took about an hour to install. I had the bike disassembled down to the handlebar already. Read the instructions several times online and read the reviews also. Fit and finish is great. Just had to cut a couple of factory zip ties on the forward frame to give the brake and clutch hoses some extra slack. No need to re-route the clutch line as in the instructions. I had a set of Heli-bars installed before but I wanted a little more up and back. These bars provide that.
I am still experimenting with rotating the bars through the indicated range.

The tube style conversion handlebars are a fantastic upgrade. The beautiful styling is second to none. The ergonomics with these bars are fantastic putting you in a more upright riding position for longer rides. The packaging is super with really nice cloth bags that can be reused. You will not be disappointed with these upgrade bars or any Wunderlich products for that matter. You pay more for these, but the quality products won’t ever have to be replaced on your bike. Once and done.

Excellent fit and finish, will need a Torx T8 wrench to complete installation. You can either reroute the clutch line or Hornig makes an adapter for $48 to give enough length. It will connect without either but it puts a lot of tension in the clutch line in right turns. The adapter sorts that. Transforms the bike into a Megamoto with a better fairing and more power. Much more control authority over the steering. Well worth the money!

Get the bars, they make this heavily sport leaning tour bike a little more upright and relaxed. The factory "clip ons" are nice for short stints, and make me feel like ricky racer, but not so commy after a couple hours. Bonus points, low speed maneuvers are easy peasy now, and the quality of the bars is oem level good.

Did this swap from stock bars on risers, which were giving me wrist inflammation after days of mountain riding. Huge improvement there! but the biggest positive is providing a much reduced steering pressure and nimbleness in turn initiation - very similar to a 1200GS now. And the black bars a great looking.

I rode my R1200RS for a year with risers and it was a one hour bike. After that I had upper back/neck pain. I didn't think these bars would be that different but it turns out it's much better. Should have done it sooner. Great experience with Wunderlich America. Bars arrived very quickly and when I emailed a question after they arrived I received a phone call the next morning with the answer. Installation was not bad. I didn't time it but it probably took less than a hour to install.

As noted, the bars, once installed are great. They provide some relief from the forward leaning wrist pressure. It's a well made item with an excellent finish, fit well, and they look nice. On the other hand the install instructions are some of the worst I've ever tried to use and I'm an engineer. The provided diagrams are wrong (I have a R250RS but I read the same complaint from a R1250 owner), you don't have to drill any holes as directed, and the controls come apart differently than described. I think if you follow their directions it's possible to break or disable some referenced switches. The instructions are all in Deutch (German) and are incorrect/incomplete based on the diagrams provided; they need serious work. Back to the initial statement though, the bars fit and feel fine once installed and provide smoother handling and a more confident feel when riding.

First the good:
The quality is excellent and the kit is complete. If someone told me these were OEM parts with Wunderlich branding, I'd easily believe it. Also, they're a very nice improvement in terms of comfort. I had bar risers on the stock bars and they helped, but this is much better.
Now the bad:
Wunderlich, please provide some decent documentation, or even a video. The pictogram instructions were lame and in one case, wrong. Getting the right control module off on the 1250 is not the same as what was shown (presumably from an R1200RS).
Also, now my clutch lever hits my left mirror at full right lock. Hopefully I can adjust this out.
Overall: I'll give it a 4/5 and really, it's the only game in town since the BMW parts would be another ~$250
