The qualities of this screen are best felt after a long day's riding on your R 1250 R: You can ride long distances effortlessly, in a more relaxed manner and without pains or tension in the neck. Made of 5 mm-thick fracture and scratch-resistant acrylic plastic. Easy assembly, simply replaces the original windscreen.

The screen is pretty large and the tinting is a little darker than I was anticipating. At first I was unsure if I liked the overall look but it has grown on me over time. As with most windscreens on naked bikes there is some wind buffeting and noise in the helmet but not as bad as other screens I’ve had. Looking at various winglets to attach to see how those fare. I live in a windy area but haven’t noticed any problems with the screen stability or excessive vibration yet. I don’t have the extra brace the previous reviewer mentioned. Construction is top notch and as usual the Wunderlich customer service is excellent.
