Wurth - Silicone adhesive/sealant

This RTV Silicone sealant is an extremely versatile product with a multitude of uses both as a sealer and reliable adhesive.

This product is made by Würth, the professional's choice for quality and dependability world-wide. What also makes this product outstanding is the packaging. Instead of being packaged in a tube like most such products, this comes in a pressurized metal can. The silicone is dispensed by pressing on the nozzle, like a can of CheezeWhiz™ or whipped creme. This makes it easy and quick to apply an even and consistent bead and also makes it especially perfect for sealing engine cases, etc.

We have been using this product on our own bikes and one concern that we originally had was whether or not the nozzle would plug up between uses. To our delight, we have found that the small plug of silicone that dries inside the nozzle is easily removed and the undespensed product having never been exposed to air, flows out perfectly, so the product has a long shelf life as compared to similar products that are in a tube.
