Wunderlich USB Dual Socket, Black
The USB dual socket is designed to replace the original BMW DIN socket. It also does away with wobbly adapters. The socket installs in the same position and using the original connector. This means no soldering or cabling of a new line are required.

This usb socket adapter fits perfectly into my 2015 F800GSA replacing the original DIN port in the center body panel.
There are products that look similar and Touratech sells a very similar product but anything cheaper just isn't worth not having the peace of mind of a high quality usb power port.
I use both ports everytime I ride, one for my camera system and one for charging my phone. Both work well.
This adapter looks like an oem part and the usb ports are tight and secure. The port cover caps could be a little better designed in terms of getting a nice tight seal around the ports. Other than that, great product, easy to install.

Installed on my 22 GSA. The nut holding the oem single usb plug socket is a little fiddly to get the supplied wrench on to remove it. Be careful getting the new nut started on the dual plug so it doesn’t cross thread. The threads are plastic and could be easily damaged by the metal nut if cross threaded. There is a small tab on the top of the plug so that it can only be insalled one way to orient the plug in the proper direction. Check to make sure the plugs work correctly before you tighten the nut. Several videos of the install are on YouTube. It will be very convenient now to have two plugs to help keep my devices charged while moto camping.

I bought 2 for both my BMW GSA and GS and am really looking forward to the simple install. My buddy has the same one and I know it will be a great little mod to the bike for USB devices. The only bummer is it was shipped via USPS and I am having more problem tracking my package down from the lame USPS. Hope to get it today after 4 days of tracking it down. Wunderlich, please ship UPS or fedEx Ground.
