The clearance between the OD of the adapter was quite a bit smaller than the id of the wheel on my 2020 R1250RT so it kept shifting as the wheel was rotated. Unfortunately I had already modified the adapter in my lathe to accommodate my balancer so I can't return it. I should have paid more attention before modifying the adapter.

I have an electronic Hofmann wheel balancer and need an adapter for my K1600GTL. I could of bought a larger cone from the manufacture but thy are around $300+. These adapter will work but a had to machine the center hole out a little larger. Have not balanced my wheel yet, but I don't see why they won't work.

I ordered a set of these wheel balancer adapters because my 2019 BMW R1250GS rear wheel has a pilot hole diameter of 62 mm which is substantially larger than the 10 mm rod on my static wheel balancer. I considered other alternatives including having an adapter made but none were as inexpensive as the Wunderlich adapter. I have yet to use them but I did test fit them to the stand and all works perfectly. For those that have balancers with larger rods, I believe the adapters can be drilled out (I would not do this with a hand drill but use a bench drill press) to fit your rod. They seem to be very durable and reasonably hard even though they are made from plastic (I'm guessing either HDPE or Nylon) and should last substantially longer than I'll ever need them to.
