Bikestart Outlet Assembly
An additional outlet, the same part as included in the BikeStart kit. It can be installed on a second bike and you can use the jumper wire from the kit on both bikes. Another concept is to have an outlet installed on every bike in your riding party, then use the bike to bike cable to help each other out of a jam.

Given the hassle involved getting to the battery on the F800GS, this was a no brainer install for me. Where to put it?..... I grabbed an appropriate hole saw and drilled through the small cover on the left side, right at the knee bend. Just enough clearance behind the cover for the wire harness, and looks quite professional. If you ride with your feet on the rear pegs, you will find that it nudges the inside of your lower thigh, but not uncomfortable. If you have difficulty connecting the jumper cables(male connector seems like it just wont fit), don't panic. Just round off the edges of the male pins slightly and it will slide right in ;)
