Compact USB Adapter

This USB charger adapter is made specifically for the typical BMW power outlet (DIN sockets) and it allows easy connection of your USB cable for charging your phone, etc. Converts 12V input to the USB standard 5V output with max. 2000mA .

The special feature of this accessory is the compact 90 degree angled shape. This allows a very slick connection with minimal protrusion.

I am using this on a 2017 f800gsa to use the BMW factory outlet to power a Google pixel 3XL. This combination has not worked for me, power charging happens in short bursts. Checked the cable I'm using with a power bank and in that configuration the phone charges consistently. So it's either this product or mtororcyles outlet that causes the inconsistent charging, I am not sure which.

It seems pretty solid when you plug it in the euro style socket. There is no play in it. I haven't use it much yet but I did use it to make sure it works for when the time comes

I reviewed this USB adapter over a year ago and was very happy with it. It's now been over an additional year of use and I've just returned from 8 months in Central and South America where it was used every day in rain and inclement weather. It continues to function perfectly. Very rare to find good quality products and highly recommended.

I didn't want "another" charging cord for USB, so I has happy to find this adapter for the BMW socket on my R1200GS. The design is compact and "clean" as mentioned in the other review and it's small enough NOT to be eliminated from my packing list. I might not take it on every ride, but it's an excellent option for anything other than a day trip. The product works well and is durable. It charges everything I carry and I already have a CORD for AC applications. A great option for charging on the road.

USB adapter works perfect and has a solid feel to it. I use it to power my cellphone while riding because the Waze Ap on my cell kills my phone battery fast. Waze is a really great Ap to use while riding or driving.

We've tried several brands of USB adapters, a couple of store brands that wired directly to the battery but failed in a couple of months, a couple that attached to SAE cables and worked well, however were fiddly and not a clean solution - certainly a detriment on an adventure bike that is bouncing on rough roads. This unit is nicely designed and simplifies the cabling. It fits in our DIN sockets near the instrument cluster and a single USB cable to a GPS, tablet, or phone is a clean solution.
