Tank Bar Reinforcement

The rear, free end of the original engine guard of the Adventure has no support against the frame. It thus forms the Achilles heel of the engine guard. In a fall or fall over, it tends to give way, because the forces are not immediately absorbed. There is a risk that the valve covers will be damaged.

With our reinforcing bar this deficiency is reliably eliminated. It connects the rear, free end of the engine guard with the Wunderlich tank guard 41873-200. Thus, acting forces are additionally added via the bracket in the appropriate places. This measure thus prevents the yielding of the engine guard and reduces the risk of damage to the valve covers. Constructively, the reinforcing bar is designed so that its curved shape ensures the reduction of occurring load peaks. Precisely formed on CNC tube bending machines, cleanly welded. The reinforcement bar integrates into the design of the original engine guard. Increases passive safety for driver and machine.
