Here is the perfect way to complete your R1200 R Classic!
We were really excited by the regained simplicity of the new R 1200 R that it felt easy for us to tailor a classic outfit for it. The classic styled half-fairing and color scheme retains a certain racing feeling combined with a strong reduction of wind pressure. The upper body is less strained, which helps to maintain a high average speed on long distance rides. When riding in a normal seating position the head area is subjected to an even and turbulent free stream of air; Ducking a little bit behind the screen and high speeds are not a problem anymore!
Inspired by the legendary R 90 S and the R100 CS a modern classic was created. The fairing is made of lightweight but strong ABS plastic material. This fairing has been painted black with an alpine stripe to perfectly match the stripes of the R1200 R Classic.

Just finished installing a Trophy Fairing on my 2013 R1200R Classic. Looks great and quality of the product is superb. I received my kit in just a few days from the initial order. Took me 3 to 4 hours over a couple days. Instructions as everyone has pointed out is extremely weak and leaves much to interpretation. Luckily the are others who have installed these fairings and lend their own pictures. This is a finishing touch to my bike and it really makes it look sporty in a retroactive way. I gave this product 4 stars due to the poor instructions.

The small outer white lines are thicker than on my R 1200 R Classic. I would have thought a detail like that was an obvious must to get right. The fit was not so good. Had to muscle it on a bit. The instructions are clearly aimed at a mechanic in a Garage and could use a lot more visual photos to explain meaning for this amateur. I found them to be highly ambiguous and they were lacking a clearly spelt out bill of materials (BOM). Again, shouldn't that be a must when a customer pays so much for this item? Maybe my BOM was missing so no big crime but it meant a fair bit of trial and error with screws, bolts and washers. Overall, it makes the bike look a little prettier but I have not noticed much benefit in wind shield. Its a cosmetic addition so far. Would I buy it again? No, at least, not the Classic version..can't forgive the thicker lines and crappy instructions set against the price.

Installed this on my 2011 R1200R Classic. Had to wait a bit to receive it...suspect that they are painted to order. Everything arrived in good condition due to the care taken in packaging for shipment. Components are very good quality and the paint work was flawless. It took a couple of hours to install mine due to my fussy nature. The instructions say to put the headlight as far back as the adjustment will allow. In my case the fairing contacted the leading edge of the fuel tank. That problem was easily solved by moving the headlight forward. Wind protection is minimal but the airflow around my helmet is cleaner than with the Cee Baily's tall windscreen that I replaced. I am very pleased with the fit / finish and aesthetics. If the price had been $400ish I would have given a 5 star rating.
