As usual this product from Wunderlich was of excellent quality and once installed it works like a charm. Putting my RS onto the center stand is much easier than it was without it. The installation on my 2020 R1250 RS was not as easy as it looked in the instructions. The clearance between the center tray under the rider seat and the mounting screws on the lift handle was too small to allow for any tool to be inserted without first loosening the center tray and then flexing it to permit some extra clearance. However even doing that it was necessary to use only an Allen head bit and a 10 mm open end wrench to tighten the top screw. It was impossible to insert any ratchet and Allen head socket combination (or even just an Allen head socket) into the space available. NOTE: If you have an inner fender extender on your RS you will need to trim/remove a portion of it to permit the installation of this part. The part listing at Wunderlich indicates the lift handle will not fit if you have an inner fender extender but with some creative trimming of the inner fender it can be done.

My 2020 R1250RS is difficult, to say the least, to put on the center stand as there is no grab rail. This handle gives you a grab point on the bike where there was none! Once you loosen the passenger peg it becomes quite simple to install. Well built but a bit salty for what it is. That said, it works.

This is a very nicely made product, and it compliments my R1200R perfectly. I chose black, and it blends right in, and does the job of making it easier to get on the center stand. The only small installation problem I had was getting the small screws on the inside of the mounting plate to attach. The problem is there is not quite enough clearance on the back side to get a wrench in there. I solved the problem by buying a special "tight spaces" ratchet. Perhaps a real BMW shop has a special tool. Anyway, eventually I got it attached. Highly recommend this product.
