Center Stand Skid Plate

The logical complement to the engine protection system.

The center stand, catalytic converter header pipe and swing arm mounting are all protected from serious damage by this plate. And, in addition, if it should bottom out, the bike can glide along the ground on a fully protected undercarriage until the rear wheel finds traction again.

4 mm (0.15") strong aluminum.
Integrated swages bring high stability.
Secure, easily fitted restraint systems.
Maximum protection for main center stand, header pipe and swing arm.
Made in Germany.

The GSA already is equipped with a plastic version of a center stand skid plate. But it is plastic. Wanted something with a stronger base plate. This fit the bill. Installation was a pain due to trying to get the clamps to close and add the nut. Used a pair of pliers to get the ends to meet up. Once that was done the plate was installed and looks good. I would get the plate to give you peace of mind in case you need to go over any bumps in the road.

Easy to install. The folks at Wunderlich are very responsive with any install questions. I purchased the Extreme Skid Plate last year for my 2015 GSA. The Center Stand Skid Plate extends protection of the bike. The only thing I was surprised by is that I ordered the color black for both items. The bottom of the Extreme Skid Plate is Aluminum and the bottom for the Center Stand Skid Plate is black. It's not a big deal as you really can't notice it.
