This bag is designed to fill the "Gap" under the luggage rack of your GS. This bag is perfect for storing tools or other small objects. It mounts under the rear rack to make efficient use of otherwise unused space under the rear carrier of the 1200 GS. Strapped in place or removed in only seconds. Remains secure while the motorcycle is in motion.

Good bag. Exactly as advertised. Fits my on-bike toolkit and pump. Looks good and understated (really don't want anyone to notice it's there since it's holding my tools). I would have made it a little larger (there is still a little room under the rack), but other than that, it's a fine bag. I recommend it.

I saw this product on an R1200GS at the Wunderlich display at the 2011 BMWMOA National Rally and knew I had to purchase one. Yes, the bag is a bit "floppy" when empty. But put a few tools in it - or in my case, a tire repair kit - and it no longer droops down onto the taillight. My only suggestion would be another pair of straps to keep it up against the end of the rack when empty. Otherwise, it's exactly what I expected it to be - a nice alternative to the GS's lack of tool storage space.
