R4V Pressure Plate

This pressure plate is made by the OEM supplier Sachs and equivalent to the BMW supplied part in every way.

Whenever you replace your clutch disk, it is imperative that you also replace this part to ensure that you get the longest life and best performance out of your clutch.

Be sure to thoroughly clean the contact area before installing!

Important: BMW made a change to the clutch beginning with the 1998 model year (production date 12/97 and later). If your bike is an earlier version, then you also need to replace the clutch housing and diaphragm spring. Actually, you should really to that no matter what but if you have one of these early production bikes, you have no choice. (Unless your bike has already been upgraded to the newer version parts)
