Once installed these side covers look good and, to my eye, look stock. That is to say they look as if they belong there - and not something superfluous. But the majority of reviewers are correct: the installation instructions supplied by Wunderlich are extremely cryptic. Definitely take your laptop into the garage with you and read the instructions other reviewers have been generous enough to post in this forum. It will make your job easier if not easy. Very tight working quarters especially on the right side. "Low profile" or thing wrench heads a big plus. I had to use masking tape to help hold one or two nuts in place on the open end wrench while threading bolts. Also, despite my best efforts, I've failed at figuring out how I ended up with two small nut (not nylon stop nuts) leftover after the installation. Everything seems right and tight a couple of hundred miles later - but - it still mystifies me. Took me three hours start to finish and more that a few curse words along the way. I had the same experience as some others who tightened down the hardware as much as seemed prudent, and then still has the the mounting posts want to pivot back away from me when trying to push the rubber bushings over the round metal tops of the posts. A small dab of vaseline on the post and grommet helped this process eventually. I also had to try to use a thin (bent, old) screwdriver to insert behind the mounting post to hold it in position while trying to get that bushing popped onto the mounting stud. With patience you'll get it - but probably not the first time. Bottom line is side covers look good when finally installed but it is not a breeze to accomplish and you'll benefit from reading the instructions contained in these reviews. Good luck!
