A great deal of testing and development went into the design and shape of this wind screen. Our designers fine-tuned and perfected the shape of this screen by testing it in all weather conditions and at all speeds, including extended full speed tours on the Autobahn. The result is a great windscreen and a nice improvement over the original screen. With greatly reduced turbulence, the Wunderlich ERGO windscreen is the best way to eliminate wind pressure and allow the rider to fully concentrate on riding.

The choppy buffeting from the OEM screen is gone and it does not need to be raised much to be effective. Optical quality is fantastic and the blacked-out section between the mounts is a nice touch, since it's impossible to clean in there. Only negative is the wide ears prevent the mirrors from folding in.

If you're shopping around for something cheaper, stop. You'll waste money. You'll eventually buy this windshield anyway, just like I did.

Work if looking through shield

This shield does take away the side buffeting I was experiencing with another offmarket or the OEM shields. But, this shield has to be high. Those side lips on the design do not work until they are about level with your ears. I don't like looking through a shield, so this is not a good shield in my view. I am 5' 9".
