Wunderlich Center Stand

Just finished a comprehensive and very positive review - then accidentally deleted it. So, in brief: this center stand kit is superbly well thought out, and is made from much heavier, more robust materials than other non-OEM center stands I’ve bought and installed on other bikes in the past. As another reviewer also mentioned, I was not able to remove the chain roller idler bolt without tapping with a punch. I also had to file down a slight anomaly on the bolt in order to thread it into the spring hanger. Once done, I re-tightened the bolt, only to find the idler tight. It turned, but with excessive resistance. So, I loosened it again; firmly torqued the two other larger mounting bolts and nuts, and then, lastly, returned to the chain roller idler to snug it down. This did the trick. Otherwise, all went perfectly, without any issues related to bushings or other hardware. The stand functions beautifully, and is smooth and quiet throughout its range of motion. Very happy with this useful, extremely well-done CS kit!

Great Product, Great Service, Fast Shipping. Thanks to DOUG SHAW!! All went together well, in spite of the poorly written Instructions. One surprise was that the stand does not locate "tightly," sliding about 1/4" from side to side. Also, a 4mm gap in the mounting point and spacer was a bit worrisome. I employed a couple of 2mm washers to fill the gap, and things are as good as they will get. I was bothered by having to do this twice, with the bike on the ground and on the side stand. Doable as a DIY, but not optimum. Overall, the PROs outweigh the CONs.

I looked at a couple of center stands and read reviews, I have had past experience with Wunderlich and all their products fit perfect and are top quality. Same with the center stand, fit perfect, top quality, easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
