The original fender is too short! This results in a dirty radiator, fairing and unnecessary airborne water and debris.

This exact fitting ABS plastic extension completes the original front fender and puts an end to all of that. A very discreet and efficient reshaping of the front fender. The fender extender features a clever support bracket that provides the support needed to handle the additional weight of the extender. Supplied complete with all hardware, screws and self adhesive foam strips for a solid and vibration-free attachment.

This fender extension is a must if you want mud and small rocks out of your radiator! Don't know why this isn't factory.Easy to instal and withe added rear fender brace it's quite sturdy,. I do recommend.

I feel this accessory is a must to keep the dirt and crud out of the radiator. The K bike seems to run a bit hot so it's important to keep the radiator clean. The directions would be more clear if there were written instructions along with the pictures. Seems like a quality piece and includes the support bracket which is needed to keep the extender from contacting the tire. Don't let the price hold you back.

BMW should have built the front fenders on a K1600 longer. This accessory extends the front fender to stop dirt and rocks from hitting the radiator. While it's not an easy install it's not real hard. Take your time and follow instructions.

if you care about the radiator of tbe bike you must have the extender. It is the best one on the market in my opion. Does not touch and rub and way less road debris in the radiator. and helps with cleanliness.

I'm very pleased with this fender extender. I really wanted one that stayed away from the tire and had no rubbing issues. The install was easy and I feel confident that with the 4 tapping screws it won't be coming off.

This extension is a must for the K1600. Extremely easy install. I used some weather proof silicon sealant around the screws and in the small gaps where the part meets the fender. Mostly to keep water from getting to the adhesive strips.
