45 Tooth Rear Sprocket
This sprocket is a direct replacement for the original, except that it has 45 teeth instead of 47. Installing this sprocket will effectively reduce the number of engine revs needed to move you down the road at any given speed. You'll therefore experience less engine vibration and realize better fuel economy. Combining this 45 tooth rear sprocket with a 17 tooth front sprocket will provide yet a longer ratio. These sprockets are a high quality product, made of tough steel in the "Diamond-Cut" procedure.
Find your bike below to see what your bike was equipped with originally: (Number of teeth Front / Rear)
- F 650 / ST / GS / Dakar: 16/47
G 650 X Challenge: 15/47
G 650 X Country: 16/47
G 650 X Moto: 16/47
We also have 14,15,16 and 17 tooth front sprocket available. See Under the Related Products.

I went with 16/45 and couldn't be happier.I can now cruise comfortably at 80mph

Brought the rpm's down at highway speeds, much less vibration. Runs very smooth at 70 mph. Great product!

45 tooth sprocket brought the revs from 5000 at 75mph to 4500 and the difference is a pleasant surprise. It feels like a less taxing ride at higher speeds. Only thing is I can't lug it in 2nd making a tight right. Not a big deal. Quality seems good. Fits well. It really altered the nature of the bike at highway speed for the better.
