Exhaust Valve Protector, Black

This part protects the exposed exhaust flap valve mechanism, present on the 2010 and later R1200 GS, R1200 RT and 2011 and later R1200 R. Thrown up rocks and unintentional boot contact will no longer present a threat with this part installed.

Made of powder coated aluminum and includes all mounting hardware.

Fitment was perfect, as were the instruction. The only issue was when shipped it was mistakenly shipped in silver and not black. I called Wunderlich explaining the issue. They immediatley shipped a model in black, along with a shipping label. Great customer service.

Goes on easy and does its job!

This part goes on over the cheap neoprene guard that comes from the factory and does seem to protect a vulnerable part. More inexpensive insurance. I like this part.
