I recently purchased a replacement emblem for my 2010 R1200RT. And though it arrives timely and the quality is sufficient, the emblem doesn’t match the original emblem. So now the two sides of my bike vary slightly. The original emblem is heavier and thicker. The replacement is super thin and tinny - even though the description described it to fit my bike. I believe it’s made for a different vehicle.

The emblem fell off the gas tank fairing on my R1200RT and I ordered a 70mm replacement. All I had to do was clean the area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol, making sure to remove all of the old glue gently with a plastic scraper, then let it dry. The new emblem was just peel and stick after aligning properly, making sure to apply enough pressure all the way around for a good, tight fit.
